There are two ways of getting involved with CREATE College Students (CCS). The first way is to serve as a volunteer and the second way is to serve as an intern at one of our three partnership schools: The Preuss School, Gompers Peparatory Academy (GPA), and Lincoln High School (LHS). Once you determine what role and site you want to be involved with, you must do the following:
The most important part of this process is choosing role and site. Below is information about paperwork required and deadlines. If you have questions please feel free to contact Evelyn Lucio or Mariko Cavey.
UCSD students interested in volunteering must complete the following paperwork:

The deadline to apply for an internship is the Friday of Finals week, the quarter BEFORE you wish to intern. In some cases, applications are accepted through Week One of the quarter in which you wish to intern. However, all applicants who meet the deadline will receive priority placement. Late applications are accepted under special circumstances.
Preuss and GPA internship paperwork is to be submitted to the desk of the Provost Intern, Mariko Cavey, located in the Provost and Business Offices of the Marshall College Administration Building. Lincoln volunteer paperwork is to be submitted to the Office of Program Coordinator, Evelyn Lucio, located in the Social Science Research Building, third floor, office 320. All form can be found in the downloads section.
